Atar’s Tantō
The Canton of Mons Draconis is raffling a hand crafted one-of-a-kind blade
created by Master Atar Baktar of Salamander Armoury
and donated to Mons Draconis by Lord Carolus Eulinhorst
This Tantō has an 11" single-edged pattern welded blade
and has, in Master Atar’s own words,
"22 Karat gold, silk, meteorite and dead animal parts... "
"All kidding aside... the piece I sent down is a very...VERY nice piece of
iron...
parts of it will be featured in my 4th book...
The gold (and I do mean real GOLD) leaf work on the siya (sheath) is exquisite,
even if I do say so myself... and the "depth" of the lac work on the siya...
well you could "drown" in that... as for the "other stuff"... well...”
Part of a limited run, this blade is number 121 of 125.
Details include a tsuka with white samegawa under a black silk ito.
How can you resist such an offering?
Only 750 tickets* at $1 each will be available before the drawing takes place.
Even though Mons Draconis Anniversary has been postponed,
we will make the blade available for viewing and
be offering Raffle tickets at upcoming Events (when possible).
